March 8th marks International Women’s Day. Originally a day celebrated by communist and socialist countries, the holiday was adopted by the United Nations in the 1970s and became a worldwide celebration.
International Women’s Day comes on the heels of the closing of the Black Enterprise Women of Power Summit. The summit featured some truly remarkable women with much wisdom to share.
